9月30日青苗成都校区迎来了2020第一个可以“聚众”的节日，玉兔、明月、嫦娥都早已在青苗成都校区迎接大家的到来！校园内洋溢着欢乐的氛围，为了让来自全球各地的同学们过一个有意义的中秋节，青苗成都的老师们早已为今天安排了满满的节目。在此之前，先有请青苗成都校区MYP/DP人文学教师Emma Luo讲讲中秋节的来历！

中秋节吃月饼，大家知道月饼节的来历吗？

每年的农历八月十五是我国的传统节日中秋节，其历史源远流长。它所代表的“团圆”的寓意，2000多年来在人民心中一直占有着重要的地位。因此，中秋节不仅仅是简单的“吃喝节日”，更是寄托了人们“但愿人长久，千里共婵娟”的美好愿望。

关于中秋节的起源说法较多，一种说法是，它起源于古代帝王的祭祀活动。《礼记》上记载“天子春朝曰，秋夕月”，“夕月”就是祭月亮。早在春秋时代，帝王就开始拜月了，后来拜月的习俗逐步传到了民间。
另一种说法是，中秋节的起源和农业生产有关。秋天是收获的季节，“秋”字的解释是“庄稼成熟曰秋”。八月中秋，农作物和各种果品成熟，农民为了庆祝丰收，表达喜悦的心情，就以“中秋”这天作为节日。“中秋”就是秋天中间的意思。农历的八月是秋季中间的一个月，十五日又是这个月中间的一天，所以中秋节可能是古人“秋报”遗传下来的习俗。
There are many opinions about the origin of the Mid-autumn Festival. One is that it originated from the sacrificial activities of ancient emperors. “The Book of Rites” records the ritual of sacrificing the moon. As early as the Spring and Autumn period, emperors began to worship the moon. Later, the custom of worshipping the moon gradually spread to the people.
Another view is that the origin of the Mid-autumn Festival is related to agricultural production. Autumn is the harvest season. The character “秋autumn ” is interpreted as ” when crops are ripe”. During the middle term of autumn in August (Chinse lunar calendar), crops and fruits will mature. In order to celebrate the harvest and express people’s joy, farmers take the “mid-autumn day” as a day to celebrate the harvest. “Mid-autumn” means the middle of autumn. The 15th of August of the lunar calendar is the very middle day of the month and the season. Therefore, the Mid-autumn Festival may be a custom inherited from the ancient “Autumn Returning Ritual”.

中秋节在民间盛行始于宋代。北宋正式定八月十五为中秋节，并出现了“小饼如嚼月，中有酥和饴”的节令食品。吃月饼、赏桂花、观潮等节庆互动蔚然成风。明清时期，中秋成为我国仅次于春节的第二大传统节日。
“每逢佳节倍思亲”，团圆是中国人心中永恒的主题。在这个大团圆的日子里，青苗的大小宝宝们团聚在青苗大家庭，在“月光下”，追忆历史，畅想未来！
The Mid-autumn Festival started getting popular among the people since the Song Dynasty. In the Northern Song Dynasty, August 15th was officially designated as the Mid-autumn Festival, and along with the day, appeared seasonal food like “small cakes”” short bread” “maltose”. Eating moon cakes, appreciating osmanthus, watching tides and other festival activities were becoming popular. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Mid-autumn Festival became the second largest traditional festival after the Spring Festival in China.
